I’m really pleased to share that I am officially a DELTA trainer-in training, on the September-May part-time DELTA course, run by ALS Athens.
This is a very exciting opportunity for me. I’ve been trying to get involved in CELTA training for years but I was never in the right place at the right time. I’m grateful to Paschalis Chliaras for finding me and giving me this opportunity to advance my career in ELT.
Most of my readers are/were DELTA candidates and I’ve helped many of you since I started the TEFL Zone. Your comments and private messages of gratitude and appreciation have been really encouraging. You’ve convinced me 🙂 I have what it takes to be a good DELTA tutor, and that I’m ready to take on this challenge! So, thank you!
I’d also like to thank some amazing tutors (and role models), who have inspired me and taught me so much over the years. Emma Meade-Flynn and Shaun Sweeney from Dublin Tefl, Simon Phipps and Suzan Özgelen from ATI, and last but not least, Martyn Clarke from NILE. With all that I’ve learned from you, I feel confident and positive I’ll do well!
I’ll keep you posted 😉
Congratulations Rachel! I’m sure continue to be an amazing support to teachers in your new role! Very best wishes 🤩

It seems I might have to prepone my DELTA plans 😉
